When I feel I am in a wardrobe funk, I generally turn to the past for inspiration. For example, I may watch an old Audrey Hepburn movie, as she is of course one of favorite style icons. As much as I love Audrey, another top, revisited style icon of mine is the timeless, Edie Sedgwick. This 60's social lite really knew how to wear a pair of tights.
I love her because she was ahead of her time, and wore what she liked. Big statement earrings, a pair of tights, and a sweater has made her one of the greatest style icons ever, in my opinion. What do you think? Where do you turn for a little inspiration?
