Clothing Racks+My Dressing Room

The 4th of July has really snuck up on me. We are heading home for a few days and I am realizing that my dreaded task of packing is upon me once again. As I sit here in my dressing room, attempting to get packed, I am noticing how unorganized things are. Numerous hampers piled with both clean and dirty clothing, shoes, scattered across the floor, etc. I am not the world's tidiest person, we've been over this, and I am OK with that.

The only embarrassing part about it, is that I really should have plenty of space to keep myself organized. My understanding boyfriend, has even provided an entire wall devoted to my shoes!

I do, however have one last idea. An extra clothing rack! I have been eyeing these guys for a while now, and think this may be the one missing piece of organization in my room.

Do any of you have an open clothing rack in your space? Do you think one would be helpful, or perhaps it is just wishful thinking?

XO

  1. I WISH I had room for a clothing rack! I'm SO jealous of your shoe wall. The closet I share with my bf is so teeny tiny I can't even tell you about it. It's probably smaller than your shoe wall! I guess that's just how it goes when you live in a tiny apartment in the city. Oh well! Post some pics if you end up adding a rack in!

    1. Small closets in the city...I've been there girl! For some reason it seems like the less space you have the more you are forced to utilize it, resulting in a more organized room! It's so weird! Have a great holiday!

  2. I absolutely LOVE the idea of having an extra clothing rack -- not only for the extra space, but I love the way it looks. You can use it to display your favorite items of clothing and switch it up with the seasons! xo

  4. I think it would definitely be helpful. I wish we had room for one but there's just no space for it in our little one bedroom apartment.

Thanks so much for your comment on my self-employment struggles. I've just started keeping a notebook on my bedside table so I can write down whatever crazy thoughts and ideas are keeping me up at night. Last night, no joke, I literally woke from a dead sleep because my brain finally worked out why my flash wasn't metering correctly in my session the day before. I wrote it down and was able to fall back asleep within a few minutes. It was amazing!
