Hey guys! Hope you all enjoyed the weekend. Ours was pretty low key with the exception of my new reading material that I have to say, I am very excited about! It's called Crazy Sexy Diet. Let me get on my soap box for just a minute...If there is one great thing you could do for yourself this week, it would be to pick up a copy and really consider what is being said.
The book is written by a 30 something year old woman, Kris Carr, who was diagnosed with a rare, untreatable cancer. She was diagnosed ten years ago and has since then changed her entire lifestyle. Her diet being the biggest change and in her opinion, the reason why her cancer has not progressed. She believes in eating real food. Nothing processed or packaged, cutting out all dairy, and all animal protein.
This diet is not really a diet, and is not just for someone fighting an awful disease. It is a way of life and I am very happy that today is my first day of her 21 day cleanse . With my new juicer on hand and a fridge stocked with fresh fruits and veggies, I look forward to seeing how the next few weeks go!
Have any of you done this cleanse? Would love to hear how it went.

In My Makeup Bag...
As a girl, it seems like we are always looking for the next best lipgloss, moisturizer, foundation etc. After numerous disappointments, I realized it's generally best to stick with what I know and love. So with that said, here are a few products you will always find in my bag!
I love my bare minerals foundation and blush. I've tried others, and none compare. One of my favorite blush colors is"vintage peach." A pretty color for spring.
Same goes with my lipgloss. Have you guys tried Boxom? It is THE BEST. I like to change up my colors. Right now I am wearing "Bunny."
I am very consistent with my choice in mascara. This one is inexpensive, and works great!
I like to stay as natural as possible when it comes to my products so I opt to use pure almond oil as a moisturizer at night. I will often add a few drops of lavender essential oil. It cleanses the skin and smells amazing.
For the day I prefer something a little bit lighter. I really like the Josie Maran SPF 40 daily moisturizer for the mornings. My make up goes on smooth and also has enough sunscreen to protect my skin all day.
What are some of your favorite products?
Have a great weekend!

5 Things...As of Late
Happy Monday, guys. Hope you enjoyed your weekend. It seems like things haven't slowed down at all around here but I can't complain! Busy is good in my book. Here's what I've been up to lately...
After a long search for the perfect way to decorate our hallway, I finally pulled the trigger! Love my new console from West Elm, and my inexpensive accessories from Home Goods. Still on the search for the perfect piece of art to hang above, but certainly an improvement!
We were able to sneak away for a weekend in the city. The gym at The Trump has the best, unexpected view!
Added a splash of spring to the window at the store (with some help from my amazing mom!) Cute flowers came from Paper Source. A little assembly is required but totally worth it.
Fell in love with this new jewelry line we are now carrying, Tinsel and Timber. The prettiest handcrafted wood necklaces you will ever see.
And I finally attended my first market this weekend! Style Max is going on here in Chicago and had a great time checking out more new lines for the store! Crazy over this pretty Spanish knit line.
Have an amazing week!
